Elena is a sustainable table lamp made with biodegradable materials designed for decoration and lighting of warm and contemporary environments thanks to its light and its original design.

Materials

These sustainable lamps are made with a biodegradable polymer derived from lactic acid, which is produced from 100% renewable resources, such as corn, beets, wheat and other products rich in starch. Therefore, unlike other commonly used plastics that are obtained from non-renewable petroleum reserves, at the end of its useful life, the Elena table lamp degrades naturally without leaving harmful residues for the environment.

Elena also includes a round electric cable covered in silk-effect fabric. Taking into account the decoration of each home, you can choose between white, black, yellow, orange, red, green, blue and pink for the cable.

These sustainable table lamps are manufactured by GOBO. This sustainable Spanish firm uses 3D printing as a manufacturing method in all its furniture. While industrial manufacturing is linked to overproduction and therefore to a large generation of waste, 3D technology applied to lighting systems is innovative since it allows manufacturing of short series or of a smaller and controlled amount of production, without unnecessary waste.
