Description

Morphe II is a sustainable paper mache pendant lamp designed for exclusive and sustainable homes. Place it above your kitchen or dining room table for creative center lighting decor.

Materials

One of the most important materials used to make these sustainable pendant lamps is paper mache obtained from recycling old newspapers and certified water-based sustainable glue. This material is characterized by being durable and very light.

They use natural pigments to color it and a white one-meter textile cable to connect it with the energy source. Morphe II ceiling pendant lamps use only LED light bulbs up to 20W with E27 termination (not included). You can choose from black ocher, red ocher, green amber, gray, candy pink or clay for the shade of this sustainable lamp. You can also customize the color or length of the cable by request.

These pendant ceiling lamps are exclusive designs that you can place in any space in your home where you want a sustainable and lively decoration. Morphe II pendant lamps are optimal for central lighting in the kitchen or dining room by placing it above the table.

Environmental characteristics

Like all Crea-re products, these lamps are sustainable thanks to the materials used to make them, such as recycled newspapers, water-based glue and dyes. All of them are natural and non-toxic. In addition, the LED light that is exclusively needed for the illumination of these lamps is innately sustainable, mercury-free and with a life cycle ten times longer than traditional bulbs. Finally, the lightness of its products avoids high environmental costs when it comes to shipments, since the lower the weight, the lower the generation of CO2 in transport.

Design features

The Morphe II sustainable pendant lamps are part of a collection inspired by zoomorphic and amorphous shapes present in nature. Uneven gaps and unique wrinkles accentuate its smooth and oval surface. Depending on the screen color that is chosen, you will create warmer or colder environments.

For example, the color sienna contributes to a cozy decoration and conveys warmth as well as dark English pink, which also adds calm. The greens refer to the vegetation therefore they’re ideal for creating natural atmospheres, and if you choose it in the dark tone, it’ll also be elegant. Finally, blues are cold, calm and sophisticated colors in their dark tones. At this point, be careful not to overdo the use of blue as it could produce too much cold sensation. As always, look for the balance of temperatures in your decoration.

These lamps were shown at the London Design Fair in 2017. Many newspapers displayed this collection. The most important: Label Magazine, Design Alive, Furnishing International and especially Design Wanted.
