Description

The 8-cell pendant lamp is a mood light that opens up new views and dimensions in different parts of the room, from cubes or stars to tetrahedrons. The semi-transparent wood and the structure of the lamp create a cosy atmosphere.

The structure of 8CELLS is reminiscent of soap bubbles that intertwine with each other while spreading material and mass proportionally, thus maintaining the shape and density necessary for their synergy. As a result, the bubbles form polyhedrons that combine hexagons and tetragons. 8 modules are set around a central module and yet are able to create an endless structure.

The lamp is constructed of plywood circles of the same size that interlock with each other and are fixed by a unique quick-fixing dowel. The 9-chamber composition is illuminated by a light source in the centre.
