The small side table PL1950 is an interpretation of the symbolism of Scandinavian design in the 1950s. Marked by revolutions of style and form in furniture design and decoration, this period was also the time when new industrial techniques were initiated (functionality of steel, aluminium, moulding techniques, Formica…).
Furniture has taut lines, legs are increasingly refined and acid colours and graphic motifs are making a strong entrance into the world of interiors. With PL1950, we are avidly interpreting this period; the aim is to make the colours and functions of tables full of colour and life “exist”.
