Description

The Sakura coffee table is a solid wood coffee table. Its name honours the Japanese cherry blossom “sakuri”, very present in the Japanese culture as well as its passion for wood since ancient times, present in the rich ancient architecture. The veneration for the perfection of the craftsmen’s working technique was such that it has survived to the present day.

With very refined lines, this solid wood coffee table offers a light silhouette whose top is highlighted by the detail of the combination of the stripes in wenge wood. We select one by one the pieces of wood with which we manufacture the table.
Made from 100% solid ash wood. The wood is PEFC certified, which guarantees that it comes from responsibly managed farms.

The finish is made with water-based varnishes that respect our environment by greatly reducing gas emissions. It is important to highlight that our varnishes do not need maintenance, they are forever unlike other finishes that need to be applied every 6 months. The degree of protection offered to the wood is equal or superior to a conventional varnish. The wood is completely waterproofed. For example, if you leave a glass of water on the wood, it will not leave a mark on the wood.

Care of the product

First of all we can say that wood is a living material! Wood is an incredibly noble material, it has intrinsic properties such as smell, colour, touch and shine. Being a natural product, it can have defects derived from its natural growth process such as small cracks or hernias. It is advisable not to expose it to direct sunlight.

For daily maintenance it is advisable to remove dust and wipe with a cloth dampened in water from time to time. Never dampen the cloth with
abrasive products. If you have any doubts, please contact us. We advise you to avoid dragging objects to avoid scratching the most superficial part of the finish.

In the case of import/export, you should bear in mind that the product may be subject to taxes and tariffs, charged by your country’s customs agency upon delivery of the package(s).
