Description

Peak Footstool is designed to match Peak Lounge Chair, but could also be used as a freestanding sculptural stool. the footrest consists of 25 respective sub-elements made of birch laminate laminate ndividually oiled and waxed to provide the wood with a smooth and silky finish. The design of the product is done using 3d technology.

Once the basic shape is found, the objective is to define the lines in their entirety, maintaining satisfactory joints between the elements, after several prototypes of persevering work the final design is defined, the different pieces of wood are processed by milling machine generating a minimum of waste of the original material. The edges are rounded by hand and each element is in turn sanded by machine and by hand.
